My story
Soma was born from a simple question.
What is my gift to the world?
The answer I received was clear: to bring people together. Soma emerged from that.
Over the years, I've met many incredible facilitators through festivals, workshops, retreats, and conscious communities โ people working with bodywork, massage, breathwork, somatics, tantra-informed practices, shibari, movement, and other forms of embodied healing.
Again and again, I noticed the same pattern.
These practitioners were doing deeply meaningful work, but they were often scattered and hard to find. Many faced censorship and restrictions online โ even describing their work authentically sometimes became difficult.
"There was openness. Discovery. Trust. Connection."
Yet whenever I experienced these communities in real life โ especially at festivals and gatherings โ everything felt different. Facilitators could share their work freely. People could explore practices safely and naturally.
I started to feel a strong desire to create something that could hold that same feeling โ not just temporarily, but all year round. A home for embodied work that exists beyond algorithms, censorship, and fragmentation.
That vision became Soma.
Soma is a platform for embodied practices and conscious facilitation โ but more than that, it is a gathering place. A way of reconnecting what has been scattered.
Soma โ the living body as experienced from within.
It is a space to return to the body, to presence, and to each other.
Join me in making my dream come true โ with love, Pouyeh
